It's been a little while since I posted on my blog, mostly due to the fact that the last few months have been crazy! Getting settled into a new job, apartment, town, and lifestyle has had it's challenging moments, but I couldn't be happier with where I am right now in my life and career. KAAL-TV has already given me so many amazing opportunities to grow as a reporter, and I am looking forward to the many more learning experiences that are to come. Story on the Iowa Dance Team

This is a package I did recently on the Iowa Dance Team. The women placed 8th and 10th at Nationals in Orlando, Florida back in January.

Feb. 2nd Anchor Read

Here is another Thursday night anchoring post. One of my best highlight reads from an awesome men's basketball game on Wednesday night. The Hawks came back from behind in the 2nd half to beat Minnesota for the second time this season. Great game to be at and exciting to recap here. Enjoy!

Thursday, January 19th Sports Anchor at DITV

Hi everyone! Well, it's officially my last semester as an undergrad at Iowa. I wanted to start posting all of the stories and anchoring I do at DITV and for my KGAN internship this semester, just to get my work out there a little more. Here is our entire 15 minutes newscast for DITV on January 19th. Sports hits about 6 minutes in. This is all student produced and run and has been the best way for me to grow and gain experience all four years of college. Many more to come, as I will be producing and anchoring the Thursday night sports segment every week. Enjoy!
